onwards in Seminar Hall of the College

St. Thomas’ College of Education organizes A day Workshop on Neev, the Basics of Self - A Session on Life Skills on 20th April 2018 (Friday)at 10:00 am onwards in Seminar Hall of the College. B.Ed. students of first yr. (2018-20) and B.Ed. students of second yr. (2017-19) participated in it.
The Resource Person is Ms. Swati Subramanian, Master (Rural Managementand Sustainable Rural Development). She has started session with introduction on importance of Life Skills for better performance in all fields of life, either personal or professional. For this, she has discussed the SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis and describe it in detail to students.
After theoretical discussion, the resource person distributed worksheets to write about their own SWOT points and its analysis. After doing the activity, students shared their own analysis with resource person and their peer group. In the end, resource person took students query and answer them. With this session was concluded with Vote of Thanks.
B.Ed. students enjoyed the workshop and participated in a disciplined manner. They have learned about a very important aspect of life skillsieabout their own SWOT points and its analysis.
